Dear friends, I would like to create the
Free Speech Society on steemit
Here would be a general out-line:
We create a network of free speech advocates. Members donate steem into the account. The money stays there and will grow over time,
creating a whale. Any member commits to help other members. If one of us is attacked exercising his right to free speech, ALL other members AND the whale strike at the downvoter. Since we are early in the game, this might work within a year. We could acquire new members by looking at who got censored by downvoters and message them. If someone got hurt recently, they might be willing to join.
We create a badge for each member to include in his posts, something like..
You are reading a post protected by “The Free Speech Society”
Free speech is a basic human right and will be protect by us.
If you disagree with any of it’s content, feel free to express your opinion, disagreement or outrage in a reply.
In case you downvote any of it’s content and try to censor free speech, you will regret it.
If you are a professional downvoter, all your upvotes will be taken down and nullified.
I Disapprove of What You Say, But I Will Defend to the Death Your Right to Say It
Free Speech Society
We can write an acquisition letter;
Do you believe in free speech? Did you get attacked by a malicious downvoter for exercising your right to free expression?
Join the Free Speech Society and we will work together to fight for our rights!
Once we have established a big enough following and power, this badge will advertise for itself.
Anyone who sees it might be willing to join and get protection if his post was taken down..
We can set up a discord server for interviews and registration.
No spammers or bots, but people from all walks of life who want to exercise free speech, whatever the topic is.
Including Antifa 🙂
If we can get 1,000 people and everybody pays 10 Steem, then we should have something to begin with.
That would be 3 followers/day, in a year when steemit gets big, we are already a player in the game.
Any thoughts about this are highly appreciated. We need to start as soon as possible while steemit is still young…
